For no apparent reason. Every so often you see one of those guys seems like he’s one

Good thing too. We definitely need him because this appears to be an OhNotae game.

Notae is pissing me off. His fricking wannabe hero mode is killing us

Unpopular opinion but I won't miss him when he is gone. Can absolutely light it up but is frustrating as hell when he doesn't. Umude has bailed us out a lot in the later part of the season and has been just as important if not more in our offensive production.

Sadly, I agree. He gets in foul trouble way too much. And for a guy, thats a 5th yr player, he takes a lot idiotic shots.

Muss pulled him quick after he missed two quick bad shots. Problem was Lykes wasn’t any better.

Been saying this the whole time.
Tired of seeing him barely cross half court and shooting. Especially when he isn’t hot, and has missed the previous 8 open close shots, including layups.

I like Devo, but his dipshit hot dog passes to the other team, that he has at least once a game, or dribbling it off his foot because he went behind his back dribble for no reason.

Then Lykes, he is useless unless you are playing a group of 12 year olds. If he can’t beat people on the first step, then he can’t do anything except drive into trees that stick their hand up and make a forest.

All this said leads me to how bad is KK?

While its a good thing our fans demand success and have short memories, since its indicative of our current program level...

So we are supposed to accept it because it could be worse? I don’t give a shite how he dribbles or how he passes if he didn’t frick up when being fancy. He could do a back flip if the ball gets to where it is supposed to go.

Be a fan however you want, you're right to do so.

I just never understood most player hate, especially ones like JD that work their arse off and is one of the best pure scorers we've had in a long time.

The only player critique I can get behind are work ethic/attitude like Townes or pure douche like Mallett. I can understand the Lykes critique earlier in the year because he wasn't following what Muss wanted him to do, but he pivoted quite a bit to buy in and his minutes/play has shown it recently.

Other than that, they're all trying their arse off and if they're not good enough to be on the court/field, thats on coaching/recruiting.

Well said and agreed, I guess it’s how some vent but doesn’t make sense to me.

It's absolutely venting. Emotional reactions rarely make logical sense

Devo had a great game and carried us to the elite 8 last year. He's been pretty damn good down the stretch. Still only a sophomore.

As for Notae, he has absolutely carried us this year. You think we'd be better off without him?

He still wound up having a solid arse game and had some big time shots down the stretch last night.

Blows my mind anyone would say "im excited the kid from Jacksonville State who dropped 30 on Kentucky is leaving"

Ridiculous.

Devo is better than people think. He's not being used right or developed well, imo.

Didn't say we would be better without him or that I was excited he was leaving. Said I wouldn't miss him. Bit of a difference there. I will root for him in his future basketball career as I do all former hog players. I hope that all the incoming talent can lead to more consistent offensive performance next year.

JD is what he is. If he can play within himself we can go far. If he takes a bunch of bad shots when he isn't hitting we can lose tomorrow. I won't miss the inconsistency of depending on his hot/cold shooting and the shot selection that comes with it or poor play in end of game situations.
