To host the SEC BB tournament, south of the most southern schools???!!!! Tampa??? Really? You'd think they'd host in in a more central location, or at least somewhere closer to where the actual fans live.

Meh, just to play devils advocate here. Tampa has a lot of transplants, and is in better spring spot than pretty much any big city in the South.

I just don't get it. Hell, why not Los Angeles or Honolulu? TAMPA???!!!! I'd have loved to attend a game or two, if it were within reasonable driving distance. somebody screwed up and I'm surprised there isn't more outcry over this.

I'm tired of seeing this stupid argument. Central Florida is not no man's land, it's partial to UF but everyone has fans there and there's several airports if you need to fly in. It's also one of the best arenas anywhere and spring in central Florida is the best time of the year.
