They threw a date in Tampa and a date in St Louis when A&M and Mizzou joined. The other years are all in Nashville. They're going to do what is in the best interest of selling tickets, and that is always going to be accommodating Kentucky fans when it comes to basketball. It might rustle your jimmies but yall know deep down that it's true.

Why do you guys keep mentioning central Florida? You realize it’s in Tampa, not Orlando.. right?
Anything along I-4 is central Florida. Orlando doesn't get to be the sole proprietor of central florida just because UCF is there. Everyone in Tampa considers themselves to be living in central Florida.

Relax and enjoy, bro. Tampa is a great town and this is a great time of year to be there.

It’s going back to Nashville so everything will be good. Honestly needs to stay semi permanent in Nashville.

Nashville is a pretty meh town but something about the basketball tourney works really well there.

Out of all the states in the freaking country, Florida was the least likely to make putting on the tournament difficult to run Covid wise.
Most of those other cities are run by democrats and could lead to a shite show of a tournament.
And the SEC has 3 bowl affiliations in the state so the like to keep a good business relationship Florida.
