I got to go with Sidewalk here, that forfeit was a horrible finish to a lousy year for A&M. They were still talking about somehow making the CFP after losing to State and Arkansas only to drop two more games and then forfeit their bowl.
Even if you are under strength go ahead and play the bowl. So what if you have to play backups? Play the backups. Go to your bowl to reward the players for the season, take your lumps if they happen, and then come back with your big recruiting class.

To be fair, Ole Miss At Home Again never fails to make me chuckle.
I personally enjoyed "all arse, no apes" during the pole assassin / monkey debacle.
To me, A&M will always be "Arrogant & Mediocre University"
