frick, I wish I was if they're throwing around $20+ million dollar donations to schools they didn't even attend.

Imagine how much money their family has.

It's certainly strange that some folks here cannot fathom why big donors are necessary to run athletic departments. Or when someone donates millions, they get their name on something significant.

Renaming something is completely different and it's not happening.

I just think its funny the article talks about how humble they are and how they are doing it for Auburn... yet they put their name on the building

The donation is good, don't get me wrong, but you will never hear or see me call it any version of Neville, Neville arena, Ville, or anything else.

Personally, if I was in a position to donate/name buildings, I would name them after notable alumni, professors, Auburn staff/admin, or someone who had a major positive influence in the actual town of Auburn.

Someone should have talked to Bob. Broadway Arena would have been cool.
