Credit to the pitching staff and especially JD for working out of the jam in the 9th. Misplaying a couple of ground balls on the left side of the infield and a lack of offensive production at the top of the lineup was the difference.
Pinch hitting BVC for Harris was criminal. It would have been nice to have Harris up in the ninth with a chance to do something considering he’s the hottest hitter on the team.

I get it, had those decisions to hit Van Cleave, leatherwood and McCants worked out, it would have seemed genius by Bianco. Now those decisions just seem mystifying.

I don't blame him for trying to shake up the lineup and hope to light a spark....but yeah...why Harris? I guess he's the easiest spot to fill on defense.

BVC can’t hit a slow pitch softball. While Harris has delivered in the post season (.500 BA), and especially in the last Arky game (3-4, 4 RBI’s).
WTF was Bianco thinking. He likely Bianco’d himself out of a spot in the CWS finals. Congrats, coach, on doing what you do so well.

Last night we looked like we did a few weeks ago at the plate. Chatagnier and especially Dunhurst are dang near auto outs. If they can just get a couple hits between them to keep the inning going, it would be huge. Still don't understand why Leatherwood and BVC saw the plate. It really wasn't even fair to them to put them in that situation. And Gonzalez has to be solid all around tonight. Let's just get it done today, Rebels. Positive vibes.
