Quite frankly, horrible season, Harsin shitty recruiting, and only 3-4 weeks to pull the class together, Hugh did alright.

Don’t seems like we win many last second battles with Bama.
As to academics, we had sociology, but a professor in economics wrote an article for the cronical of higher Ed and it was picked up
By the times.
We need general studies, Bama has it. Like build a bear, it is build a degree. Can be almost anything.

FYI Florida ended up taking Mertz instead of McCall (which is a clear step down) because of academic reasons. UF also has one of the best sports management programs in the country so it sounds like it wasn’t just a matter of not having the major. Like has been said numerous times, the real red flag was that McCall was in school for as long as he was and hadn’t graduated yet. Most football players graduate early, not late.

Would love to land a more highly rated transfer QB as well though. One thing I haven't seen too much about is a transfer linebacker, which I thought was a pretty big position of need.

I don’t either. I’m pretty positive about it all.
Like I said in the expectations thread. I’m just going to enjoy some Auburn football this coming year.
This staff has proven they work their asses off. They will build the relationships moving forward. Freeze and staff took some big leaps forward over the last two years in just four weeks.
