Not a negative Ned here. It is reality. Another example... best class of recruits to come out of the state of Alabama in years. Clemson, Georgia have 4 of the top 10. Penn State is in the running with Georgia for the DL out of Central. That's 30 miles from Auburn guys. Florida State has one. Michgan State has a higher recruit than Aubie. Aubie only has 2 commits from the Sate of Alabama in the top 20 at this time. Hell, Virginia, Vandy, Tenn, Kentucky and Arkansas have commits.
That's concerning to me.

Everyone of us have shared our aliases on other boards for bookkeeping purposes. What are yours?

I have no aliases on the other boards. No reason too.

I love'em like the rest of you! Just really concerned about the direction of the program and I think that's legitimate.

I'm pretty sure that there was an analysis out there that found that Bama/UGA actually did even BETTER than most at evaluating "3-stars". So not only do they sign 5-stars, but when they pick a 3-star to be in their class, they're actually very good at evaluating those players too.

Kinda my point.

Not only do you have to evaluate at an elite level. But you also have to be on guys that are also being missed by Bama/UGA. Otherwise they’re just going to recruit them away from you if you aren’t a good recruiter.

If you’re the recruit’s handler there ain’t nuttin we can do about this.

If you’re not the handler, buckle up for the ride. I kinda thought the HS alienation days were over.

I’m sure there are players doing it. Mac brown even commented on players telling him to pony up because hey we’re getting offered a lot somewhere else and he claims he told them you better go jump in that, or something of that nature.

Yeah I heard Mac talking about that one (can't remember where) basically told the kid on his UNC recruiting trip to call the other school and commit right now because he wasnt getting that from UNC, not sure if Mack didnt think he was worth it or if UNC just not doing a lot of NIL

J.Lee reports that Miami 3* QB commit Emory Williams has been offered, and this is a real one to watch (unlike the JJ Kohl offer which is a pipe-dream).

Looks like they're back to looking to take a QB in 2023 and scrapping the idea of two QB's for 2024. The whole Air Noland thing has been deflating for a while now.

If they don't end up taking him it just further proves they have no idea how to recruit this area. One of the top QBs in the country (regardless of where exactly you think he should be ranked), really popular around the ATL area and with other recruits.. and we're going to blow it because he doesn't fit Harsins mold... I want to say so much more, but I'm holding off for now because it won't do anyone good, but when the time is right...
