I’ve seen some really, really good teams not go undefeated in SEC play. Championship teams no less. They have a more favorable schedule than some but I wouldn’t be surprised if they dropped a road game.

You’re delusional. Extremely rare for anyone to get through conference play undefeated. Auburn is good but not great and the conference is as deep as it’s ever been.

They will not win the SECT and that will be good for them in the NCAAT. The goal now is a #1 seed and to rest their legs until the NCAAs. A loss might even help them at some point.

In play is a very general term
It’s only in play because you haven’t lost an SEC game yet. The national championship is in play for all teams because no one is eliminated from contention yet.

Don't get stupid. Auburn will lose an SEC game or two. I have zero problem with that. It will do the team good.
