That's been my experience with Gator fans too. I hate the Gators mostly because of Spurrier, Meyer and the 90s. Not the fans.

Most of the turds (ZeusStamos, CobbDawg etc.) have been gone a while and most of the good ones are still around.

Thank you! I know when your rival wins a title it isn't fun for you, but it is appreciated when you put aside our rivalry to congratulate us.

Unlike LSU fans , most UGA fans act like they’ve been there. I guess because their team has been consistently close the last few years.

We are still in shock. Most Bama fans I met at the game and on here have been extremely magnanimous - as have most others.

Generally speaking on this site, the accusations towards opposing fanbases being insufferably obnoxious are very often more obnoxious than the opposing fanbase ever ends up being in reality.

We do a good bit of day trip shopping over in AL, on the weekends. I cannot guarantee that I won't be wearing a National Championship shirt/hat when we go in the future.
One thing's for sure, the sidewalk Bama fans have been the problem, historically. The actual Capstone grads I know have been nothing but classy in defeat this week so there's no reason to be gross about it.
