In all but one of those matchups, the second matchup winner hold the first winner to within a TD of the scores of the first game, but their offense did a lot better.

Which would mean, if this is actually a legit pattern, Bama is still likely to score in the 30's in the rematch, and UGA would have to score in the 50's for this pattern to continue with the 21+ rematch win.

I'm not buying it.

frick the media for pumping rat poison into this shite. Bama is the best program of all time and should be favored in any game with Saban on the sidelines.

If the pattern continues, and UGA scores in the 50's and holds Alabama to the 30's, it's been nice knowing yall because I'll be gawn.

Funny how nobody is screaming their heads off about Georgia getting a "mulligan." Wonder what the difference from 2011 is

Well there's a 4 team playoff now. Back then, it was a 2 team playoff, not so sure Georgia would have gotten a mulligan back then. On the other hand, maybe they would have. The computer systems were pretty good.

Also, it's not a mulligan because we had to play our way back into the final, vs another conference champ team, and beat the dog shite out of them. Sort of an earned mulligan.

Obviously the media wants a narrative that Bama is beatable, so that people don't think its a repeat of the SECG and more are interested in the Final.

You must not be very smart to not be able to piece that together.

Georgia won its division.
And played it’s way back in.

Again….not smart of you.

I can never wrap my mind around reasoning like this. There will be people that think past results will ensure future results, though.

LSU seems to have a tendency of losing rematches 21-0.

It would have been Alabama and Michigan.
