Is Calzada the best we could do?

The only argument I see is that he's better than Finley and about as good as Nix. He isn't better than 10-15 other QBs in the portal already this year. Are our standards just that low as a program now? He's probably a Boise 10 but he's an Auburn 4.

Yes. Our legacy 5 star QB left the program because of how awful the talent was around him.

You have 2 experienced QBs with SEC starts. 2 young guys. How many fricking QBs do we need?

I like him. He can handle big game pressure and has a lot of potential. Let's be honest. We weren't going to get much better with the state of our O line and receiver corps and he is an improvement over Finley.

I'm going to trust Harsin on the portal. Everyone else crying last year with what he brought in but they worked out pretty good for us.

At this point he appears to be the best option currently available to Auburn. He is a better quarterback than Finley.
