Pete is average at best. We can do so much better. But according to his last interview he’s our long term dude.

Pete is just as good as Kirby was in his 3rd season. The difference is Pete coaches well in big games.

The frustration is when a veteran laden defense looks like arse for 5 games. Doesn't mean he should be fired or anything but most people agree his D the last 2 years has improved as the year went on. This one looking lost against Florida and A&M was inexcusable.

But, congrats. Pete's defenses get better the more they play and practice. I guess you called it. I suppose it's beneficial that they don't usually get worse.

I've never been a Golding fan.
That said, could it not be said that, just as young players develop and improve, so too might young coordinators? Is it not possible that the guy could just be getting better at his job?

Made a comment along those lines to an Auburn friend of mine and had my privilege exposed with a fury lol.
That being said, this has been a fun if not frustrating year for sure.

The guy is ok. He is coaching the he Alabama Defense - that Saban wants done. Period.
Just like our OC. He has said them and again, this is Alabama’s offense - from Coach.
