Not sure SC thought that one through, his talent doesn’t match his attitude

Have you seen our QB room? We were playing a GA half the year

That’s a solid pickup for South Carolina. Impressive

Never saw any attitude from him while he was here.

As in ego not necessarily an attitude problem but at this level most have an ego I guess

That is a good point and I can’t say I blame them

All elite QBs have an ego. Even the ones who wear the mask of humility for public consumption. It requires extreme confidence to play that position.

South Carolina is absolutely killing recruiting

Instant credibility to all offensive positions!
He'll yeah, South Cacka Lacka!

Rattler is as good as anybody provided you don't pressure or drop eight... meaning if you play a conventional defense and his O line protects... he can carve you up. Give him anything else and he gets average pretty quickly.
Stogner? Not elite, but pretty good. Kind of slow and clumsy. Reminds me more of a basketball player playing football. His best skill is climbing the ladder and coming down the with the rebound. Pulls down EVERYTHING!
Running a traditional route across the field... Not so much. Average hands. The fact that Rattler already knows this will be helpful. But don't expect a Bowers level type talent.
They are both good additions to USCe but you all will need some other parts for them to really shine.

This is proof you have zero clue about the size and loyalty of the Gamecock fanbase.

All the people that say his attitude is horrible have to realize that kid ate some serious humble pie this year. Hopefully it will be what motivates him to grind (not A&M definition) this offseason to build his stock back up

Stogner lost his confidence after he injured his leg, which lead to a staph infection that got worse, he lost 30lbs, nearly lost his leg, and his life. Weird sequence of events but his issues are between his ears. If they can rebuild his confidence, he'll be a potent weapon for them.
Rattler has an elite NFL arm no doubt about it. Accuracy is top notch and he has a great deep ball. Needs to learn to manage a pocket, ball security, and go through his reads instead of playing hero ball like he did in HS. He has all the tools of an elite QB for sure. Just needs to get out of his own way.

USCe is building something, happy for them

Was Stogner decent this year? Is it a case of another year healthy and in the weight room getting him back to his original mindset and fire?

Is it possible other schools didn't want to deal with his attitude and he ended up having to take what he could get?
I don't know if this is the case, but I do expect the market for him never materialized like he envisioned
