Elko was good but Notre Dames defense improved the year after he left for Aggieland. Believe it or not Jimbo and Kelly have pretty similar philosophies and they both make DC’s look better than they really are.
Just like Sumlin’s offensive philosophy always made our DC’s look like shite. Time of possession can make or break a DC.

A&M will continue to spend more than some other programs in the west are capable of. superior talent will overtake less talented, corrupt programs in more financially distressed, lower elevation, less educated states.

Just like all the good coaches do. Aranda as well. A school looks good if their assistants are getting promoted. It becomes an attractive place for many DC‘s especially when the school can pay. He was here for four years. How many more years were you expecting a great DC to stay?

Take away last years Covid season and Jimbos record is 13-11 in the SEC. And last years “great” season had a 1-1 record against a team with a winning record (before bowl season) and wins against teams with an overall 30-50 record. In jimbo we trust! Wait till next year.

As usual, Aggie is wrong. A winless SMU team ruin your “natty” chances. SMU was hardly a powerhouse after the death penalty. One the aggies almost got as well during their best seasons. Google is your friend
