Sooooooooooooo, as a Buckeye slug I want Michigan to lose badly all the time no matter who they play . Most O$U fans are this way ,i.e., dont always back the Big Ten when it comes to your rival.Do most Auburn fans, for ex, all want BAMA to lose or other fans like Gator fans want Georgia to lose to Michigan in this case or do they root for the conference in these scenarios? Just curious

I could give a shite less about an SEC team winning in the playoffs...unless it's against some suckass team like Ohio State.

I want UCF to lose to Florida by 100

The only time I rooted against the SEC was when Bama lost to Clemson in the title game. They had won enough championships in my mind at the time.

I root for SEC schools in non-conference games because I want the SEC to look as strong as possible because that's better for Mizzou. It's not because I have a particular affinity for any of them.

I have generally pulled for the SEC in postseason, because the SEC being strong is what helps all of us recruit as well as we do.
Recently, I'm starting to back off of that. The SEC has been so dominant for so long that it's starting to be bad for the sport overall. Interest in college football is dropping in many parts of the country due to the dominance of the southeast, and Ohio.
Basically nobody outside the Southeast or Ohio has had a real chance at a title in over a decade, and I don't want CFB to become a regional sport. Need to get the rest of the midwest, great plains, and west coast back in the mix. Michigan being playoff worthy is a good first step. Would like to see them do well in the playoff. Hopefully not get blown out.

SEC! SEC! SEC! used to be a thing but it has faded since the conference has expanded so much. I still pull for some of the Other 8, but not so much for the Big 6. I definitely won’t cheer for OU and Texas.

I only root for SEC teams that usually don't do well in football (Vandy, USC, etc.).
I realized a long time ago that there is no correlation between which team I pull for and which team actually wins.

I will not pull for Texas in any game even after they join the only power conference.

I want Bama to win and everybody else can do whatever. LSU beating Kansas State in a bowl game does nothing to help Bama football so I don’t giveashit.

I would like all the SEC teams to win except for Florida. Of course, I want UGA to beat Alabama in the rematch.

I pull for them to make it, because we all make money when they do, generally don't care all that much about the outcome

It isn't that I am pulling for any SEC team other than UGA, it is that I am rooting for the teams they are playing to fail.
Speaking of, remember that time South Carolina lost 20 games in a row then proceeded to beat Ohio State in back to back bowls?

Same here. You can add OU to the list too.

Be a cold day in hell before I root for Tennessee in any game, ever.
Everyone else I'll generally root for unless there's some situation where it benefits Kentucky otherwise.

Yes i remember that . Lou Holtz makes a difference no matter where he coaches at ...Do you also remember in one of those 2 games , a tough white kid from Ohio who was Mr Football in HS was the MVP of the game ? Probably not

I would experience much schadenfreude if BAMA (and UGA) lose their first round games.

I pull for every SEC program each Saturday. Its painful at times

SEC all the way. I pull for conference brethren to win all OOC games. It maybe hard at the time but I know it will be better in the long run. I go on other football boards are discuss the SEC vs what conference they play in.
Now is the SEC being dominate hurting college football? Maybe, but the other conferences need to suck it up and improve. We are not playing for a participation trophy.
The SEC is winning in things across the board (even Vanderbilt won the CWS)
Competition is a good thing, no wonder other countries are pulling away from us.

Most of the time I root for SEC teams not named Auburn and Tennessee.
I root for everyone to beat Ohio State.
