I’m starting to like our quarterback room going into next season. Milroe, Simpson, and Lonergan all look promising, just sayin

Hard to imagine Simpson sticking around but you never know. That was a nice looking possession for him for sure.

Is Sayin coming in January?

No way we go into next year with Milroe, Simpson, Lonergan, and Sayin on the roster.

Ty will be back. Milroe will not. The NFL is aware of how good he is.

Milroe is not an NFL QB prospect, nor is he close to being one that could leave this year

You think Anthony Richardson looked better?

Neither was AR from Fla

Exactly
Milroe is about to score 17-20 TDs in his last 4 regular season games. His arm is crazy strong. He’s very Lamar like in his style of running and speed. If he goes crazy against UGA and in the playoffs he’ll be a 1st round pick.

He's draft eligible and better than AR was at Florida. How is he not a NFL QB prospect?

Anthony Richardson could make progressions and reads on tape. He had better pocket movement and knowledge of when to run. His issue is accuracy. He was also three inches taller and much more athletic (lateral quickness). He graded physically as one of the most athletic prospects ever

Entirely different problem than Milroe’s struggles with reading coverage and pre-snap adjustments, lol. Great arm, good straight line speed, but doesn’t have wiggle or touch. Our intermediate game is almost nonexistent over the middle

Logan Thomas had all the physicals and went fifth, Milroe isn’t going first simply because he has a strong arm.

Let’s calm down with this kool-aid chugging, he’s not going pro this year and he’s certainly not “going to be the first overall pick” like you hyped in the other thread you just bumped

I don’t think you addressed any of my points with that question, nor do I think you know how to

Milroe isn't getting a draft grade in the first round.. Makes a lot of Sense to come back next year unless they are desperate for money. But now with nil, probably not as much of an issue

Not saying it's not gonna happen. But I can't even count how many times I've seen this sentence on a Bama board...

NIL gets a little overrated. Unless you’re a fifth or a sixth rounder, you’re making more than Bryce Young as a junior via NIL. There really isn’t that much money floating in the NIL realm.

It made sense for someone like Blake Corum who was probably a fifth or a six coming off a complete knee disintegration

I think Milroe comes back because he’ll get a fifth round grade or so, and the hope is development nets him 2-3 rounds which is a couple more million guaranteed and a more secure contract. Whether he stays as a QB long term or gets converted to TE is a different story
