Whoever the QB is going forward, the offensive line has to get it figured out.

That seems to be the catalyst of our issues on offense. Constant pressure on the QBs. Inconsistent in the running game. If they play bad, the whole offense will play bad.

Proctor needs to be benched.
Dalcourt needs to be benched.

But they all need to play 10X better.

We just need to accept the fact that we're fricked and that's that.

Probably, but they have to play the games so they might as well try to figure it out.

Dalcourt: benched
Proctor: RG
LT: player to be named later

McClellan playing matador in pass pro at RB hasn’t helped either.

Pritchett to replace Proctor. He is not ready. The ball boy can replace McLaughlin I’ll bet he can snap it.

Dude was solid last year. What the hell happened to him?

Pritchett to LT
Proctor to RG
Use one of the TE/HB to chip on deep passes

McClellan, Williams, & JAM have all three had at least on bad game picking up blitzes, McClellan's was tonight. Not sure what to do there as Haynes does not appear to be ready for pass pro either. Maybe go empty with 2 TE's and 3 WR's in the routes?

He had help from 2 pretty solid guards. Not the case this year with Dalcourt.

it sucks but we're going to see a season more akin to 2007 than any since that season.

Maybe it is just me but McClellan seems to have lost some burst after the injury

Supposedly has an injury to his snapping arm.

Loss of burst? I am not suretrue burstwas ever part of his game. He has lost a little latteral quickness and that showed up tonight in his pass-pro failings.

McClellan has multiple 80 yard TD runs in his Alabama career. Whether he still or or not, yes, he was a speedster at one point.

81 yards to the house @ Texas last year.

80 yards to the house @ Arkansas.

This is a good point. Makes me wonder if the issues snapping come from not being confident in his help in particular on the right side.

I am not sure you understand what the term "burst" means.

His long speed is not bad but not highend either. His 40 time when he arrived was low 4.5" and I am not sure how much that improved over time, if at all.

Burst is short area acceleration. JAM has burst. Haynes appears to have burst. Young has burst. McClellan, not so much.

Actually agree. We did the same thing with Evan Neal

LG, RT then LT in that order

Latham and Pritchett need to be the tackles. Proctor, Ferg and or Booker at guard. Seth at center.

Let them gel, and pick a dude for them to protect

Pritchett was non functional at LT when given the shot at A-Day.

I think a lot of it comes down to whether they have a game ready tackle behind Proctor or if they think they have to let him take his lumps as he learns the ropes.

Personally I think he looks two steps slow against speed guys almost like Chris Owens from 2021 when they had him playing out of position and needs to drop 20 pounds to be game ready…

How can we not have this figured out after an entire spring and fall camp. This is horrible.

Not having a center has killed Bama ever since Dickerson left.

I had really hoped Booker would play center.
