I think its safe to say out of their body of work in coaching, Tommy comes out the better coach. He gave Auburn an undefeated season, consistency, and was able to beat Alabama a lot. Would you consider hiring him back?

Duh. Tubby just got lazy with recruiting.

I dont keep track of everyone on here, but whose alter are you supposed to be again?

Great thread. This won't be a hit like it was in your mind

hard to tell but he thinks finebaum is the best radio show so toolman seems fitting.

As the resident BOT Member/SEC rant poster, I'd have to say yes.

The two best things to ever happen to Alabama football came out of Arkansas. Bear Bryant and Tommy Tubberville.

I agree 1000% both from Arkansas ones a duck hunter the other hunts duck meat.

So did one of the worst - Malzahn.

Right. Tubs owned us while he was here. We were crippled with sanctions so we fought him with our hands behind our back but he owned us.

Even though your title is correct, we all know you're an alter.

Well, Gus only has a 4 year body of work to compare with Tuberville's multiple years. Gus was able to reach the NC game which Tuberville was never able to do.
Plus, Tub's most recent stops at Texas Tech and Cincy have been less than inspiring.
Ask me again in 15 years or so.

I am pretty sure he means, that Tubs caused the hire of Saban

Didn't Tommy get a little screwed on that deal though?

Only because Tubs got robbed.

Tubberville and Fulmer were both better coaches than what their respective schools now have.

Of course I think he did. He won all his games and did everything he could do aside from running up the score when he had the chance. He also waited a little to long to start politicking.
