if FSU rumors to Big are true, would the SEC make a play?

FSU is desperate, there might to something there, also, talk of them skipping the Orange Bowl
Would the SEC make an immediate play for FSU if true?

I wouldn't blame them if they did. Bama fans will never admit it but if they won the SEC championship with their 3rd string and their 2nd was coming back after Milroe being "Turner"-ed for the season, and they got snubbed, they'd be dying to stick it to the committee.
The "muh 4 best teams" people don't actually think Washington is top 4. UGA should be in if that's the only criteria. Hell, put Ole Miss instead of Michigan.

Nobody really wants fsu.. so why would we care if they go to the big 10?

Nobody with any credibility is saying FSU will skip the Orange Bowl.

Silly hypothetical. We would be a completely different team without Milroe but the difference is between the SEC and the ACC. Alabama without Milroe wouldn't have a chance against Georgia while FSU beat a pathetic Louisville team (who had just lost to Kentucky) with 55 yards passing, 129 yards total offence, and their only TD was the result of a kick return. That wouldn't fly against Georgia. Weak conference with a pathetic SOS.

It would be cool if they did skip it. But they're not. There's too much money on the table for FSU and not every kid (especially seniors and 2nd/3rd stringers) would be onboard.

Alabama basically did win the SEC with a QB that is 2nd or 3rd string level.

Beating uga and ending their 29 game win streak would be more impressive than fsu beating Louisville, especially if bama did it with a 3rd string qb and fsu did it with Jordan Travis. I'd have even less doubt who the better team was

Shane Matthews was honored last week at the SECCG. On his show he said Sankey told him, Fsu will not be joining the SEC. FWIW

If you can't trust a former federal inmate, who can you trust?

Forget FSU. We still need teams in NC and VA to complete the footprint.

SEC should honor the thoughts and wishes of Bobby Bowden and help FSU find the easiest path

Can teams join without unanimous consent from the other teams these days?
Ole Miss, State, & LSU kept USM out back in the day. Ole Miss and State kept Ga Tech from getting back in.
What is the process now?
