Holy shite the decline is actually real. How is such a major program playing at an American Conference stadium.

Playing at NFL stadium and in Tampa area for recruiting exposure...don't see the issue
Eta: USF got approval for a new on campus stadium in future too. Renderings look neat.

This is basically a neutral site game in an NFL stadium. You can criticize going to Duke in 2010 if you want, but I don't see a problem with this

Not a terrible idea tbh. They get young players traveling experience before they do it for conference games, and any HS prospects of theirs within a certain distance of Tampa can come see them play.

UF did it a few years ago with USF but that was an H and H.

Gives Saban a chance to scope out his retirement villa.

It's an NFL stadium. This isn't an Ole Miss playing at Yulman situation.

Funny to joke about but I wouldn’t care if LSU played in a smaller stadium. Would be fun for the opposing fans to see LSU at their place I am sure
Didn’t State play somewhere in the northeast recently?

We played at Wallace Wade stadium in 2010. We've also played at Memphis and Louisiana-Lafayette in the not-so-distant past.

I think it's a good idea that we occasionally play G5 teams away. It's almost always a win, and it helps keep those programs and leagues going financially.

I think that SEC teams should go on the road OOC more often. I don't see anything wrong with going on the road and playing at a small school's stadium every now and then, either, as long as the facilities are adequate.

They played at Gillette vs BC or UMass IIRC

Plus its a 2 for 1 deal and Bama does not have to pay USF to visit Tuscaloosa twice. Win all the way around
