Thought it might be his decision because Munson did this same thing when his health started getting bad in 2007, but Pawl says Eli made no mention of this and said he was perfectly healthy when interviewed on the program a few weeks back.

Was on Finebaum a few weeks ago and said he was looking forward to this season, never mentioned anything about calling only home games.
Now Bama says he's only doing home games.

I asked my booster friend not long ago about Eli and he said he wasn't doing good. He's doing the live feed for Coach Sabans show on YouTube but he looks weak as water. I suspect this is his last season.

you do know he took a year off to deal with cancer that almost killed him. He is not a young chicken anymore and this could be the plan to ease him back into things without road trips. You uga dawgs are sure stupid

Same thing happened to my grandmother. When we encouraged her to give up her drivers license in her 80s because she wasn't healthy enough to travel it was actually us pushing her out the family. She had no clue what we were up to.

I have not heard him in a few years, but I remember him as being very good. He has the ability to make things more exciting which is a positive for a sports announcer.

Finebaum is just stirring up shite. I don't believe his story at all. Plus it's only based on the fact that Eli didn't tell Finebaum this was going to happen. So Paul comes to this conclusion and runs with it.
I seriously doubt Chris Stewart, who's had health problems of his own, would be a part of what Finebaum is suggesting
