Attendance sucks. Watching on TV and attendance looks like a mid week non conference game. I guess as long as SEC offices are in Bama it will not change.

Where would it be moved that would be better…?
I’m guessing you haven’t seen any of the MASSIVE crowds at the Big12 tournament in Arlington

Yeah none of these conference tournaments have packed crowds

I like the one in Durham. Guy hit it off the bull earlier. Free steak.

Why the frick would I watch the Big 12 tourney?

As long as these are non-events, with no post season consequences to speak of, why would they draw big crowds

Hell, the turnout at the Shriner’s Classic in Houston had 10x as many fans as the Big12 Championship does

I don’t think where the tournament is really matters in terms of attendance

Attendance has been great.
They had over 10K there yesterday.

In what world does the attendance suck?

OP just wanted to vent out some Alabama-frustration, he had no intention of providing any alternative solutions

Over 15k for last night’s game.

Redbirds’ field in Memphis would be cool.

A rotational setup would be nice
Sugarland or Round Rock
Memphis
Pensacola

Redbirds stadium in downtown Memphis
Sounds stadium in downtown Nashville
Shuckers stadium in Biloxi on the coast with all the casinos.
Smokies stadium in Pigeon Forge
Baycare ballpark in Clearwater FL on the beach
Pick literally any minor league park within the SEC footprint that’s in a desirable weekend destination. I think fans would absolutely go and see the games as part of a long weekend trip.

What if they moved the tournament to the start of conference play mid season ?
Might create some interesting matchups early on and get people talking .
Unlike other conferences the SEC doesnt need the tournament to get a team into the NCAA Tournament.

You should go then
Hoover is the best place for it.

I attended both games yesterday.
Seemed pretty crowded to me.
Mostly LSU fans for the first game, by a large margin.
Mostly Bama fans for the second game, by a large margin.

You know people work right? How many people are gonna take a week off for a college baseball tournament that isn’t named the College World Series?
Where would a better spot be?
