Worked in the area a few years ago. It is beautiful. But with their lax drug laws/enforcement they seemed to have a lot of blue state issues.

Cowboys/Giants in ‘93. That is the game Emmitt Smith played with a separated shoulder (happened in the 2Q). He had 32 carries and 10 catches. If Dallas lost they would have played the next week.

Last year I went for 20 and ended up with 31…second half of the year was slower because I had some other things going on and I expect this year to be the same. I’ll set my goal at 24.

I have refrained from commenting on Mike Johnson. I genuinely think he is a decent guy. I have gone to church with him, but the idea that if we stop funding Ukraine then Putin will march through Europe is ludicrous. He is either completely gullible regarding the intel or they really do have something on him. Either way he cannot lead with conviction and that is what we need now…someone who is strong.

If you don’t have at least ONE win versus a top 25 team you should be ineligible for the playoff. Indiana isn’t good.

I’ll still watch and pull for LSU. The games are still fun for me, but no question my affection has cooled. I am not nearly as invested.

The advantage we always had is gone. Kids grew up in state and dreamed of playing at LSU….they still do, but everybody has a price.

Lost 7-5 to them my junior year (1993) in the 3A baseball playoffs and they went on to win state. We left the bases loaded in the 7th. I was on deck for the last out…all I’ve got.
