Texas is too high at the 11 seed, and I don’t see them sending DBU to Austin two years in a row, but I’d take this regional all day long.
Matched up with Stanford? Yes, please. That part may actually happen. We are the host closest to them.. or maybe Oklahoma State.

Definitely wouldn’t mind that matchup for us either round

I think Clemson will be somewhere between 2-6.
Q1 21-10 (10-2 on the road)
Q2 10-4
That’s a pretty strong resume. Their RPI would be higher if they hadn’t got swept at UCF (Q3) in February.

This is College Baeball Nation bubble teams stats as of Sat:
“Here's an updated look at the bubble. As of this moment, there's room for 11 of these 17 teams.
Some assumptions: UCSB earns Big West autobid and Northeastern earns the Colonial's. If you like UNCW as the Colonial's auto, then there would be 10 spots for 16 teams.”

Alabama, Texas, Oklahoma State, UVA, and Clemson are all way too high.
South Carolina, East Carolina, Campbell, all too low.
These predictions are pretty terrible.
College Baseball Nation is a very bad publication. It's essentially a blog. One of their writers said Dylan Crews would prove to be the most overrated players in the country prior to the year.

That's a ridiculous regional for a national 4 seed. Seriously doubt that happens.

I haven’t followed much this year but have seen some of OU, especially since their run last year. I’m surprised they are a bubble team this year. Does their resume really look good enough to maybe get in?

I doubt the SEC ends up with 7 hosts

Sending what is essentially the 18 seed at worst in South Carolina to the 9 seed is rough.
I get SC failed down the stretch...failed hard, but the total body of work doesnt fall outside the top 20.
That said, if we win that regional we play an 8 seed for a chance at Omaha. thats better than playing a top 4 seed

They are #1 in the Elo and #7 RPI. It's not that crazy. They have an awesome coach too.

It would be interesting to see who gets to host for the Supers if that bracket happens, because UT and USCe are both winning those regionals.

Half the league is hosting?
That seems deep.
I don’t follow baseball much.
I guess Alabama fired their coach and that is the end of that.
No post-season ban?
He must have acted alone.

We’re too high at 11, though I do think we’ll host provided we win a game or two in the conf tourney. Dominating sweep of WVU was huge. Outside chance of top 8 if also win the conf tourney (don’t think we deserve that but there is precedent with an outlier RPI noting A&M getting 5 seed last year with 19 RPI.
More important than all of that we actually are playing well at the right time. Crossing fingers on the inconsistent bullpen but all the rest seems to be there.

If Texas can come away with at least one or two wins this week, hopefully that's enough to get them somewhere between 13-16

Texas just got done pulling WVU's pants down.
That could have easily flipped that host site. But yes, a national seed isn't happening.
