Alabama fans, be honest, do you think we've seen the beginning of the end for Saban

Or do you believe he has fixed the problems and will now win more titles?

I personally would not bet against Saban winning another title before he calls it for a career.

Not a Bama fan, but no.
Bama lost two games last year, both of which were in overtime, on the road in hostile environments, and against heated rivals.
Bama has been outclassed and dominated just once since 2010.
Y'all need to calm tfrick down.

It wouldn’t surprise anyone if Alabama wins another title but nobody can deny that they’re not even close to the juggernaut they used to be.
Alabama beating Arkansas at home in 2021, 42-35, was definitely a sign…
Alabama failing to even win their division in 2022 with 2 of the first 3 draft picks was undeniable proof.

Alabama will be better than LSU this season

Do you follow recruiting? We'll let you know when it's over.

This question has been posed several times in his tenure. It’s only louder now because he’s 71. There’s still every reason to believe he will prove the doubters wrong once again.

Remember when you told everyone you bet 10k on Alabama to beat LSU in 2019?
Luckily for your bank account, you’re a habitual liar.

You're taking one season (two overtime losses on the road to heated rivals, really) and looking to make a pattern out of it.
What else happened in 2021? Oh yeah, Bama beat the shite out of Georgia in the SEC championship game. Hung 40+ on the Dawgs, something that is unfathomable right now.

One year since a Sugar Bowl victory and top 5 finish in a season when they clearly should have made the playoff, two years since an SEC championship, three years from a national championship.
The sky is clearly falling.

Georgia is the biggest variable in answering your question. They have been unstoppable the past 2 years. That's hard to beat, no matter who your coach is

Saban will make Jimbo's a** quit

Not a bama fan, but I think he relishes this “end of saban” narrative.

Lol, no I’m not.
Alabama beat unranked Texas with a last second FG after knocking out Ewers in the 1st half. Alabama was an awful play-call away from losing to A&M.
Alabama could’ve easily lost 4 games in 2022 with a returning Heisman winner and 3 first round picks.
Instead, they simply lost 2 games in 2022 and couldn’t win their division with a returning Heisman winner and 3 first round picks.

Playing devil's advocate, they were also two plays away from 8-4 with one of Saban's most talented teams ever.
Any other coach and I'd say it's definitely over but Saban has definitely earned the benefit of the doubt.

There were times last season when I was asking myself WTF is he doing/allowing his coordinators to do, UT and LSU games to give an example.
This season will tell us a lot on his direction seeing as how he has no proven QB (incoming Milore fans) and if his choices for the new OC/DC will pay off.
His recruiting is still spot on as is evident by the incoming class but others will still use his age against him and that can only be defended for so long.
To answer your question, I don't think Steele can be any worse than the hobgoblin that is now at Ole Miss so we should see improvement there as I would think Steele is smart enough to not leave a run-first safety on the other teams fastest WR and not drop your best pass rusher into coverage on 3rd and long.
Offensively I think Rees has a tough job ahead with previously mentioned inexperience at QB. RB has tons of talent, OL is young but talented and WR has plenty of talent but a lot of unknowns. If the QB situation can just be consistent and not turn the ball over we should be good but if they are unable to show other teams a modicum of a passing threat, it will make for a long season.

But Bama didn't lose those games.
Coulda, shoulda, woulda.
Bama has also not been straight up dominated in any one game since 2018. You can't say that about any other team in this conference.
Why are you ignoring that fact? Does that not count for anything? Do you think the elite roster in Tuscaloosa is going to suddenly suck next season?

They're the Michael Meyer of CFB
When you think they're dead and at the end of their story, they'll come back and butcher you before you can even blink.
