If I didn't interact with as many obnoxious Vols fans in person and on a daily basis you may have something there. But the majority are obnoxious and claim mid-season natty's only to fail miserably.
It is possible you might be in the minority of Vol fans though.

I'll bite.
They matter on memorial day weekend if the committee is having to parse hairs between the 7-10 seeds. There has been several years where we were a few mid week wins away from being a national seed.
