In the country:
Dollander, Burns, Beam:
They only gave up 4 earned runs in 3 games against quality opponents.

Quality opponents? I didn’t even know Grand Canyon had an athletic program until I noticed they beat you in baseball. I thought it was just an online university like SNHU. UCSD, the second best team in San Diego? GTFO. Arizona is a quality opponent most years but they’re not even ranked. FWIW, you do have a good rotation but don’t act like you’ve played anyone

It’s absolutely true. The starters only gave up 4 earned runs all weekend. The bullpen only gave up 1 earned run all weekend. UT was missing 2 starters, one of which in one of the top SS in the country. Once Merritt and Ahuna are both in the lineup the offense will get better with every game.

Just temporary! Ahuna and Merritt will both be in the lineup come this weekend. Merritt will hit 20+ homes runs this year and Ahuna is a 1st round draft pick and one of the top SS in the country. The pitching will carry the Vols till the offense comes around.

If those two players are what kept yall from beating ITT Tech and Arizona, then yall are up for a rude awakening when yall start actually playing ranked teams. Those were supposed to be warm up games and the west coast damn near ran the table on yall.
