Oregon State was #14 and Florida was 6-6 and had nothing to play for. Or in hindsight to play with.
Aggie was 4-7. And LSU still had a chance at the playoffs.

I actually saw quite a bit worse from gater fans on Twitter Saturday. Jax radio this morning too. Host is a UF alum. Understandably the talk has been 95% joyous Jags talk but when he has talked about Napier he has shredded him. He shredded him for the effort Saturday and for the season as a whole. Said there were no “Wow, great coaching job” moments this season but plenty of “Wow, what the hell are we doing?” moments.
I love hearing gater consternation.

You do realize that no one cared about our 39 scholarship players and would never care? Passing a chance to laugh at UForfeit for any reason doesnt count for shite.

If all the good players are going to opt out, what the hell is the point of a bowl game unless it is one of the play off games? I'm losing a lot of my enthusiasm for college football.

Sunbelt Billy to the rescue. We tried to warn them that going 10-2 in the Sunbelt doesnt mean shite in the SEC, or more like 5-7.

Agreed, the bowl games are not that same anymore with nothing to play for and the players opting out. Props to BY and Will Anderson playing for Bama - I think at some schools its depends on the culture of the team and program
