I’ve recently read: Dune, the Hyperion Cantos, Rendezvous with Rama, the Foundation Series, Stranger in a Strange Land and looking for more good ones to read.

Phillip K Dick has a lot of good stuff
Kim Stanley Robinson is probably another good option for your interest
George Orwell you probably know but he's so good you might read more of his stuff

The Forever War - Joe Haldeman
The Diamond Age - Neal Stephenson

Just finished Lucifer's Hammer. Before that, The Mote in God's Eye and The Gripping Hand. Highly recommend Howey's Silo series.

Diamond Age and Anathem mentioned but no Snow Crash? If you like hard science fiction with some other shite thrown in, I loved Seveneves by Stephenson as well.
I really like Cory Doctorow's stuff, even his YA fiction for near future dystopian:
Little Brother
Homeland
For the Win

The first book in the Shift series tells the story of how the silos were created.

If you liked that, try The Cat WHo Walks Through Walls by Heinlein.
A few older book I really liked
Man Plus by Fredrick Pol
The Gods Themselves by Asimov
A Childhood's End by Arthur C. Clark
A recent novel I've read is Lord of all Things by Andreas Eschbach
I'm not sure it's great literature but I liked it.

The Three Body Problem is one I haven't ready but is on my desk to start once I get through a few other things. Have heard nothing but great things about.
