We just went to Italy in April. Biggest difference from previous trips was the missing Africans selling shite from their rugs. It's like they disappeared. However, the Indian/Pakistani guys flinging the light up toys in the air at night in every square appear to be safe. Biggest concern was avoiding the gypsies (Roma).
