From what I heard, lsu didnt use last years revshare money on last year's team because boosters funded the collective after the Bryce underwood flip.
So they held the 20mil ..rolled it to this year. Then you fired BK (thanks Aggs) Then you tell a great coach at ole miss that if he comes to LSU it's his program do what you want, then tell him his budget is double what every other schools rev share is. Then tell him we have third party NIL setup through Nike using our Marketing Agency.
I dont think LSU will be able to do this every year. But it's a hell of a way to start a new era here.
If you were an everydayer, you'd know /s

IDK how you measure how good a player is, but I like PFF.
Seaton was rated higher than our previous year left tackle who was drafted in the 1st round and plays for the patriots. :dunno:
I'm not a professional at player evauls..and we obviously know CLK doesn't know how to find talent or develop it. SO you are prob right that Seaton sucks.
Appreciate the heads up. I wont get my hopes up.

Begs the question, when the white race is bread out of existence, who will they use next as the dumb person role?
re: For those of you who live or have lived in Chicago, what's so great about it?

Visited a friend there and stayed in the burbs. It blew me away that retail a d residential mixed the way it does in Chicago. Ive never seen that before. Each of the neighborhoods had a bit of.character that.made it distinct from other neighborhoods around town.
Mexican food in Chicago is actually Mexican and not texmex. The public trains were safe and made it very easy to pop in and around town. If you have to get an uber it's not crazy expensive. Buddy I visited explained that you just stay out of the known bad areas. Similar to staying the frick out of North Baton Rouge and you're basically good.
I visited in September and it felt like March here in BR.

CBSSports had an article about the process. Says that Sticklin in his first talkings with Lane before LSU pursued him, told Lane that they wanted to hire a former nfl GM to run the NIL part of the team and player "acquisition"
Can't imagine Lane would pick that when LSU And Verge just go "fricking Win Lane, we got your back"

When price tracking sites showed that the prices are raised right before black Friday, then lowered to their normal price to try to claim being on sale.
While i think this is a mostly accurate statement, I was able to pickup a GPU for a PC for 60$ less than MSRP off of newegg. In July it was running at approx 120$ above msrp.
So there are spots where you can get a good deal, but mostly its shitty now.

re: Tesla in shambles; Toyota debuts electric Hilux with 140 mile range

That, simply put, is painfully low, given that a competitor like Rivian's R1T pickup offers 270 to 420 miles of EPA range, depending on the battery. Bear in mind that Europe's WLTP testing is less stringent than the U.S. EPA standard, meaning that the Hilux will probably drop to sub-130 mile advertised EPA range.
From a small amount of checking around, it looks like the Hilux will never be sold in the US market. Someone correct me if they see it reported elsewhere. Tesla has things to worry about in the US backyard, but this aint it.

I’ve lived in BR for over 30 years and have never had anything stolen from me, never felt threatened or attacked by anyone, never had an issue with schools, have enjoyed low cost of living in terms of income taxes and property taxes, have entertainment of LSU sports, festivals, farmer markets, concerts, and good restaurants. We have a close community of friends and generally people are always lending to give a helping hand even if it’s someone I just met. I don’t understand why there is such a bad reputation of the city.
