I've been there, and it is beautiful. Wild, Wonderful West Virginia is an apt slogan.

re: What's the worst state out of Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama?
Posted by mdomingue on 6/26/26 at 1:10 pm to FlyingTigerBo
As much as I despise the University of Alabama, the state is not in the same category as the other two.
The three to compare are Louisiana, Mississippi, and Arkansas.

Robert Parish
Parish was Dale's first year, and there were some questions regarding his eligibility. He gets a pass on that one.
Dumars, supposedly, wanted to play at a smaller school to get immediate playing time. Not sure how true that is, but he bypassed at least one offer from FSU. He was not heavily recruited by LSU.
Malone also had academic eligibility issues and did not play his freshman season, but he initially committed to Arkansas before switching to La Tech. I do not believe LSU recruited him at all. So that would still make this a miss IMO.
JR Rider was a West Coast kid. LSU did heavily recruit him out of JUCO, but I guess he decided UNLV was too close to home to pass up. Also a miss, but given the proximity, not the miss that Malone was

100% of the filings are by the female in a lesbian marriage
Indeed
quote:
50% of marriages end in divorce.
75% of divorces are filed by the wife.
87% of stats are made up on the spot.
35% to 42% of first marriages will ultimately end in divorce. It's the repeat offender that blows the numbers up.
69-70% of filings are by the female in a heterosexual marriage (that is a caveat nowadays)

Choose carefully, wait until you are a little older, and learn to be happy alone so you don't get pulled into a marriage to avoid being alone.

You’ve got quite the spread between your own children and then your grandchildren
I remarried, I had custody of my kids, and we thought we were not gonna have any of our own. 7 years in, my wife decided she wanted to see if I was game. I was  My wife is 5 years younger than I am.
My daughter had a child at 18, still in high school. Long story short, she moved in with her mom, went wild, and reaped the consequences. But those things happen to lots of folks. She raised a fine young man, he has a serious girlfriend. I would not be surprised if they married and I ended up with a great-grandkid before I have another grandchild.
I'm 64, BTW, if you didn't want to do the math.

Do you have some grandbabies?
I have 3.
My oldest grandson is almost 24 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. His little brother is 9. They are my oldest's (she is 42, almost 43) kids.
I have a 7-month-old granddaughter by my 41-year-old son. He started very late
I was 21 when my first was born. I have two other kids who are 27 and 25. Neither is married,
The 27-year-old (son) doesn't seem to be in any hurry. No serious relationships.
The 25-year-old has had a serious boyfriend for several years now, and both she and her BF want kids when they marry. I told them both I'm only a couple of years away from retirement, and I don't plan to pay for a wedding after I retire
I was 21 when my first kid was born, 38 when my last kid was born, and 40 when my first grandson was born.
That's probably TMI

Curious why you specifically said women instead of people, since the study does not specify?
