Ran it through Grok:
make a list of PG13 or R-rated movies that are more joke forward and not "dramedy" or family friendly of the last 6 yearsHere’s a curated list of PG-13 or (mostly) R-rated movies from roughly 2020–2026 that lean heavily into joke-forward, raunchy, absurd, or crude humor. These are more pure comedies or action-comedies with strong gag/slapstick/insult-driven elements, avoiding dramedies with heavy drama or family-friendly vibes.
I focused on films where the comedy is the primary driver—lots of crude jokes, awkward situations, meta humor, or gross-out gags—while confirming ratings via sources like IMDb/Rotten Tomatoes.
Standouts (R-rated, raunchy/joke-heavy):
No Hard Feelings (2023, R) — Jennifer Lawrence as a broke woman hired to seduce a socially awkward teen. Classic raunchy premise with sex jokes, nudity, and physical comedy. Very much in the vein of older R-rated sex comedies.
Joy Ride (2023, R) — A wild road-trip buddy comedy with four friends (led by Ashley Park and Stephanie Hsu) involving crude sexual humor, drugs, gross-out gags, and cultural satire. Extremely joke-dense and unapologetic.
Bottoms (2023, R) — High school girls (Ayo Edebiri & Rachel Sennott) start a fight club to hook up with cheerleaders. Absurdist, queer, crude, and packed with sharp, vulgar teen comedy.
Palm Springs (2020, R) — Andy Samberg and Cristin Milioti in a time-loop wedding comedy. Heavy on witty banter, drugs, sex jokes, and existential gags without turning overly dramatic.
The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent (2022, R) — Nicolas Cage plays a fictionalized version of himself in a meta action-comedy with Pedro Pascal. Self-referential jokes, buddy humor, and Cage-isms galore.
Other solid mentions (2020–2026, PG-13 to R):
Strays (2023, R) — Talking dogs on a revenge quest (Will Ferrell, Jamie Foxx voices). Very crude animal comedy with swearing and gross humor.
The Machine (2023, R) — Bert Kreischer’s semi-autobiographical action-comedy with mobsters and wild flashbacks. Joke-heavy stand-up style extended to film.
One of Them Days (2025, R) — Keke Palmer and SZA in a chaotic day-in-the-life caper comedy with urban humor and high energy (throwback vibe).
Notes:
Pure R-rated studio comedies have been rarer lately, so many lean into action or meta elements while staying joke-forward (e.g., Massive Talent). Avoided things like Barbie (more satirical/family-leaning PG-13), Glass Onion (mystery-comedy), or heavier dramedies.
PG-13 options are trickier for truly "not family-friendly" crude humor, but titles like certain Ryan Reynolds vehicles (Free Guy is more family; look for edgier ones) or specific 2025–2026 releases can fit if you want lighter profanity.
Availability varies by streaming/platform—check current services. Many are on Netflix, Hulu, etc.
These should deliver consistent laughs without veering into heartfelt drama. If you want more details on any or a specific sub-type (e.g., more raunchy or action-comedy), let me know!

$12,800 in 1988. When I retired in 2024, I was making $125,000. Now I get $75,000 annually for life from pension.

March 4 last year I ran out of bourbon and decided that that was it.
I was drinking 2 handles of bourbon and a couple of 12 packs of IPA a week. Was tired of spending over $500 a month on alcohol. My blood sugar was getting elevated and I gained a lot of weight. Was doing this for years. The final straw was that I got alcoholic neuropathy and now my feet are permanently numb and hypersensitive at the same time. That’s permanent.
Never got DTs, and rarely ever felt bad. I just know I was slowly killing myself.
Now all my blood work is normal, I’ve lost 80 pounds and feel much better overall. It is hard around social activities, but I can sub in a Guinness 0 every once in a while and all is good. Best thing I ever did.

Ball Watch is not a manufacture of their own movements. They use and modify ETA/Selitta movements. Rolex, Grand Seiko and Omega manufacture their own movements inhouse. Not making their own is a problem from some buyers. If I'm spending 5 digits on a watch, I'd rather buy from a company that makes their own. YMMV

I just made a kickass queso this weekend. I took a half block of white velveeta and tossed in a small can of green chilis with milk (to thin it out) in a small crockpot. For seasoning, I added some chili powder, smoked paprika, cayenne, adobo seasoning and a little chicken base. Turned out excellent. (Be careful with adobo, it can really bring up salt level if you use too much. Same with chicken base.).

At work, three friends get into an argument over who got more wasted the night before.
"I got so drunk last night, when I got home I blew chunks," said the first man.
"I got so drunk last night, I had to sleep outside because I couldn't make it inside my house," said the second man.
But the third man was certain he got more wasted than his friends. "I got so drunk, I set my entire house on fire!" he argued.
"I don't think you guys understand," said the first man. "My dog's name is chunks."
