Agree on the food (hot dogs were nasty, nachos are better at high school games, popcorn was stale, but the commemorative bucket has been fun for the kids).
Yep, and compare that to the types of food Bama or any major sports stadium has and it's rather silly. There is no excuse for us to have such terrible food. Not only do we have zero variety, but the run of the mill stuff we have such as hot dogs is just plain nasty and worse than most high schools have.
I live halfway across the US so I pretty much only get to hit one game a year usually, but I'd be pretty annoyed if I had to eat that crap food every Saturday during the fall.

The Hot Dogs were bigger when they were Ziegler dogs.

What does Momma G's serve besides the Love or Nachos?

My seats are in section 104 which are upper deck, 35 yard line.
It was not even 1/2 full. Not even close to full anywhere up there.

The damn student section was packed out. It was nearly impossible to maneuver around.

Jake Holland is stiff and Frost got bulldozed by 5-10 208 lbs RB and whiffed on the other TD run.

Mine are 107 and yeah it wasn't near full and it wasn't all because of WSU not selling theirs.

Wazzou not bringing a band and not selling their full alotment of tix had an effect on the crowd. The two sections on either end of the east upper deck a reserved for away fans I believe... And some in the north corner of the west upper deck as well.

Yea, we usually have trouble getting those sections filled when te visiting team returns a bunch of the tickets.

Announced attendance was 85,000 and some change. There were a good number of people on the concourses that go to the upper deck. The humidity definitely did not help

Expectedly impressed: Mason, CAP, ST
Surprisingly unimpressed: Marshall, Prosch, WRs

Just about finished rewatching it, here's what I've got so far:
OFFENSE
QB:
- Marshall should be a solid SEC quarterback in due time, but he's just now getting his feet wet with not just the offense, but his first big-time QB job. Not gonna make any judgements on him until Baton Rogue.
RB:
- Grant may be the best back that we have. He fits the outside role perfectly and it's a complete joke that the old staff kept him off the field.
- Mason frustrates me. To me, he looks like an average running back, and I feel like may be the least talented of the three. But he still produces, and being the veteran leader that he is, I feel like the coaches feel obligated to feed the ball to him.
- Artis-Payne had a mixed night. He averaged over 5 yards a carry, but got stuffed in two or three short-yardage situations by a defensive line that had absolutely no business stopping us. Though looking at it, it seemed the offensive line was to blame for most of that. I wanna see what he can do against Arkansas State next week.
WR:
- Coates should develop into the go-to receiver that we need, in time. He and Marshall both had some issues that I feel like can be ironed out in relatively short order.
- Bray has become what we all felt Reed would be.
- Louis seems to have caught Coates' "stone-hands" infection. Craig needs to get on him with a quickness.
- Denson had one reception, I think? Didn't really watch him. I guess it's a good thing I didn't notice the blocking-receiver too much.
TE/HB:
- Prosch definitely made his presence known on some plays, but other times looked lost and disappeared. I don't quite know what to think about that, but hopefully he pulls it together soon. We certainly need him to.
- Uzomah didn't turn into the receiving thread I was expecting him to be. For now, I'm going to chalk that up to a Marshall and/or playbook issue, and reserve all judgements for a few weeks.
OL:
- As a unit, I felt like they underwhelmed a good bit. Got pushed around by a bottom-feeder Pac12 team and couldn't get the push needed in short-yardage situations. I saw Dismukes get put on his butt once or twice, and I feel like I remember Slade getting embarrassed a couple times while I was at the game, but wasn't paying attention to him on the replay. Hopefully they can put it together as a unit. The potential is definitely there.
DEFENSE
DL:
- Adams is a man-child. He needs to start. Now. He was living the the backfield and there's no way we win the game without him stepping up.
- Bradley had a pretty good game as well. Saw #50 pushing, rather than getting pushed around like most of our other tackles. He needs to start as well.
- Wright had his moments, for sure, but most of the time absolutely disappeared. Reminds me of Fairley in a lot of respects. Nick Who?
- Blackson frustrates me and needs to get it together. Seems like he has Whitaker's "Teddy Bear" Syndrome.
- Sanders and Owens were serviceable. Glad to finally see Sanders' mean streak on defense.
- Lawson, at times, showed why he was the #2 recruit in the country, but also had his share of freshman moments. Just gonna take some time to get him developed.
LB:
- Holland need to ride the bench. I'm not going to dump on him any, seems like enough of that has been done around here.
- Frost needs to get a mean streak or something. Guy's got all the physical tools but can't seem to put them to use. Got flattened in the A-gap on a number of occasions.
- McKinzy didn't stick out to me very much. Guess that was just one of those positions I didn't pay attention to.
ST:
- Therezie needs to be on the field every single snap for the rest of the season. Put Garrett at MLB? I'd rather take a headhunter who's a little undersized and whose skillset doesn't quite match the duties than continue letting Holland and Frost get run over.
CB:
- Mincy put himself in position to pick off three passes, but had awful luck with two of them and came away with zero. He was definitely a bright spot for the defense. Melvin Smith deserves a raise.
- Davis had some good tackles, I didn't really watch him in coverage. Sick as a punt returner, though.
S:
- Holsey had a solid night, not much to say here.
- Whitehead needs to get it together. Seems like he really hasn't done much developing from his freshman season.
Overall I thought we had a pretty good defensive performance, three picks on the night completely blew my expectations out of the water. And we held WSU to only 3 points in the second half. The offense left a lot to be desired, though, and hopefully that's something that will get ironed out in due time. Looking forward to seeing what improvements will be made this week for the Arkansas State game.

I disagree on mason. He has the best hips of any of our backs. Mason can find the creases that the other guys can't. I just wish he'd hold into the ball better... His fumble was huge, just like I last years opener.

Rewatching the game today.
* WRs were unimpressive
* Marhsall was jacked and overthrew a couple (so did Wallace)
* Prosch: How was this guy an all American? He whiffed on blocks like Holland did on tackles
* DBs looked good. DL was doing their job

I think Prosch is struggling to adjust from the I-formation game to the Malzahn spread. All of his angles are different, and it seemed like he had a hard time handling it.
Or at least that's my excuse for him. He looked reasonably good last year (not all-American good, but solid), so I have some hope that he's still physically there, just struggling with the offense.
