I would hardly call Steve Spurrier and Florida ‘Southern’ outside of being in the SEC. Gainesville sure as hell isn’t ‘Deep South’ in culture and history.
Should we go on? Not southern is a stupid arse reason not to hire someone.
Everyone wanted a coach to come in and change it up, to not be a yes man. We literally get that, and as soon as we run into the slightest bit of drama he’s thrown under the bus.
I’m not 100% Harsin, but a healthy Bo Nix and we likely beat Bama and win the bowl and Harsin goes 8-5 or better.

Thank you. Saying he can’t succeed because he’s not from here is like the LSU fans convinced O was a great hire “because he talks like us.”

Anybody with half a brain assumes the issue is not where one is from, but how the outsider relates to a new group.
Apparently Harsin isn’t doing great with that and the differences are becoming magnified.

As much as it sucks that this is where we are, it's probably correct. I was hyped up for Harsin and have been surprised by what happened after the season.
I just don't know how he will be able to recruit at a high enough level to turn things around in the next year or two, even if he stays. I hope I'm wrong but I just don't know why you'd come here with the uncertainty in the program right now if you're a recruit.
