If Pearl makes the Tourny we fine. That’s all you really need to do and win a game or two. This team is good enough to do that but the margins are thin. Still think we make the Tourny.

We might not make the tournament if we lose to LSU/Oklahoma/Ole Miss.
A win on the road at Bama would lock us in - I think.
Either way, I would not put a stack on this team making the sweet 16. I’d put the odds at 1 and done or not making it more likely than sweet 16.
At What part of the game is this team great?
Offense?
Defense?
Specials?
Who is elite on this team?
I do like SWA/Freeman/Jovic as a nucleus going forward, but with the portal who knows who we might get or lose.

At this point this means more than the tournament.... (2me)
I'd like noting more than HORRIBLY embarrass and send the message that first win was stolen by a corrupt University and rubber stamped by an ineffective NCAA. Then let the talking heads go at it again, here at the end of the season when the selection committee needs a rude reminding, that there is no honor in Tuscaloosa*.
* Not even an asterisk.

I think Steven gets another year regardless what happens the rest of the year.
I have heard they want to give him a chance to build his own roster this offseason.

Of course he gets another year. This roster is just a weird mix of guys with no true point guard. First year coach with this roster playing toughest schedule in the country- you cannot him fire with all that. I just hope there’s enough money available to give him a chance of adding some good pieces.

Yeah, I don't think his seat is even lukewarm at the moment.

He built his current roster

Do you believe Bruce just said "Steven, go build me a roster of whoever you think will work, you don't need my input"? Come on, nobody is saying Steven didn't help build the roster but to act like he and he alone is responsible for assembling it is a bit of reach.

He was Director of Transfer recruiting. He has identified hits and misses. When it comes to the "roster" that's so cynical is just three players.
Honestly, yes I lean closer to this than the other extreme.
Regardless, I am more interested in hearing what Martay Barnes thought of his visit.

I would love it simply to watch the LSU fans melt over Wade coaching a fellow SEC program while theirs is a complete dumpster fire

He would have had to have totally tanked not to get a second year. I personally think we're just putting off the inevitable but I've been wrong before so I guess we'll all see how it plays out.

Some can’t admit this was all on both the Pearls
