PTB are lining up Art Briles, said we need to win at all cost and Briles is the only person who cost the university more of its reputation than Hugh

Well that was our easiest stretch of the season. I’m hoping we are able to get 5 wins, but don’t see it.

Let this man build a team.

Well, it,would be nice if he could take some time out from all that team building to show a little common sense coaching during just one SEC football game this year.

If we had a half a QB we wouldn't be having this conversation. You can blame Freeze all day but his other QB's weren't completing as many passes to the other team as his everywhere else. It is his fault for believing he could make Thorne decent like he was at MS but he isn't teaching the team to turn the ball over.

This roster was almost completely void of any talent 18 months ago

The sad thing is we have the talent to be 5-0. The second saddest thing is the two people that put us at 2-3 (thorne/freeze) are not making any improvements. Giving the headcase qb the option to check into a run/pass situation is clearly too much for him to handle. Freeze, as a coach, should say "we are running the ball here DO NOT CHECK OUT OF IT!" What the hell is he telling him on helmet comms? Freeze is the coach. We are now 6 weeks in the season and he hasn't figured this shite out yet?

A lot of our fans seem to ignore this fact. They also seem to think a big time portal QB, is just sitting there waiting for Auburn to give them a call.

How many years are we going to parrot this?

We had more talent than most of the teams we've lost to on our home field this year. There was a time that two losing seasons in a row and getting beat repeatedly by lesser teams was a sure end for a coaching career at Auburn. Next year, we'll still have no QB, we'll be losing some of our best offensive players, we'll still be young and thin at most positions and unless something dramatically changes, we'll still look poorly coached on gameday. At some point, talent is just an excuse.

Who gives a frick? Auburn fans are too stupid to know what is going on anyway. Enjoy our failing list of pressure treated pine losers.

Word is the next head coach for Auburn is Jesus Christ. OC is Moses with his part the D-fense DC is Abraham with his don’t look back yet survive approach.

So what is the excuse? We've had different coaches and all seem to have major issues somewhere on the field. Everyone outside of the top 10 have gripes about their coaches and players.

The problem is most people don't stop and look at what happened with each bad play and how they add up and how it's everyone overall for the most part.

Yeah it falls on the HC but no one has proven anyone good was lined up at QB begging Freeze to come here. Thorne may have been the best he could get but it's going to be on him for playing him.

The bright side was he seem to play better with the game slowed down. If Freeze sticks to this and gets through this year then maybe we will have someone else lined up next year at QB.

Yep. I am one who understands you need elite talent to win, but talent is not an excuse for any of the losses this year. OU is more talented on their 85 man roster, BUT they had half their team out with injuries, so that isn't an excuse. And AU is more talented across the board than the other 4 teams as well (outside of QB).

The end of the Malzhan era and the entire hasbeen era literally burned our program to the ground. Nothing left but ashes.

CHF has always said the '24 and '25 classes would determine the future of our program.
