It doesn’t matter who the interim is as long as it isn’t someone who can actually get the HC job. Just take a look at this staff and tell me who is a coach any other quality school would want besides Steele? Our coaching staff consists of former HS coaches, Ex Auburn players and fired coaches. The talented assistant coaches don’t respect Gus and thus they won’t work for him and he has to take chances on guys.

I would literally take anyone. I would rather go 0-12 next season with a new coach than watch Gus go 8-5 or 7-6.

Look I'll be as happy as anyone when Gus Malzahn is no longer employed at Auburn. But this is a strange season. Look at LSU. Losing to Mississippi State and Missouri today. Yea we maybe shouldn't have, but WE WON.
This isn't the time to make rash decisions unless you have 30 million sitting around. Then I'd happily take my family to Gus' house and personally pack his shite. At 20% capacity football isn't bringing in the money it usually does. Under no circumstances should the Athletic Department drop that kind of money right now.

I’d say Steele but I genuinely believe he wants nothing to do with a head coaching job. Has to be Morris, right? Bicknell is a sneaky good pick since he’s the newest

The Athletic Department doesn’t pay the buy out, the big money boosters who agreed to the crazy contract pay the buy out
