Anyone know why he wasn’t there for the Top 11 ceremony?

I know everyone is gonna say hunting, and I love me some Bo as much as anyone, but I think it's kinda a dick move to not show up. Jim Brown could barely lift his damn hand and he at least made it out there.

Hell, people that aren't alive at least had representation up there.

They had Bo behind Herschel. What losers.

Great game so far.

If we didn't get robbed of our NC Bo would have been ahead of Herschel and possibly JB.

Maybe we shouldn’t jump to conclusions just yet. Any number of situations could have happened to keep him from going

Why should he be obligated to go? If he had to go to every ceremony, celebration, party, etc. that honored him he’d have very little schedule flexibility

Weird flex

He's being named the 3rd best college player ever and honored at the national championship game. That's a massive honor and accomplishment. I get that he's very private, but I think you show up for something like that.

I don't think any less of him for not being there, but it's disappointing he didn't make it and represent Auburn.

I mean, this was a bit bigger than some ceremony in Bessemer retiring his high school number or something. Like I said, Jim Brown probably can't walk and made it out there.

Bo can do what he wants, just thought it was odd to just not show up at all and make no mention of why he isn't there.

You can't really compare Bo to Jim Brown. They are totally different ppl. Jim Brown has looked for any opportunity he could get over the years to be in the spotlight and talk about his greatness. That's just not Mr. Jackson's style. Also, Bo never threw his girlfriend off a balcony......

I get that Bo has never liked or wanted the spotlight on him. I was simply pointing out that it was odd to me for him to be the only guy not up there or at least represented and just totally slipped over with no mention regarding the on field ceremony.

Bo is entitled to do whatever the hell he pleases. We all know how great Bo was and is. It just came off weird to me in the moment.

Shut your whore mouth. There will be no disparaging the Great Bo Jackson on this site.

And Herschel had like 300 more carries than Bo. Bo didn't play much his Jr year as he was also injured. He also played in a wishbone offense that shared carries. Herschel was IT, and was given the rock over and over again.

So, all of these added together probably kept him from being higher on the greatest college players list....

If Jim Brown were dead he would have left orders to dig him up and have him on that stage. Jim is now and always will be a media whore. Bo just plain and simple doesn’t give a frick about it.

I am wondering if he isn't maybe having some health issues or something. He wasn't at the IB to my knowledge. (just stupid speculation on my part)
