Shut this thread down.

Don’t ever tear down or move Jordan-Hare Stadium.

1. I went to see an Auburn game (as an Alabama fan growing up) and fell in love with Auburn in one weekend.
2. I turned away from a family of bammers to go to Auburn.
3. I met my wife there.
4. My kids went to games there and learned to love Auburn.
5. My kids went to college in Auburn and cheered in that stadium.
6. My family will gather together in Auburn for the rest of our lives and walk into that stadium and get choked up every time.

Pat.
Dye.
Field.

Forever.

We can’t be lured by NIL and let our facilities go to hell.

American short term thinking that we have been programmed with over the years by corporate America.

Just get it over with and build a dome over J-H. Live the dream. Be the first in the SEC with a domed stadium.

If we cannot do that, let us at least strengthen our supremacy in the scoreboard size race. We have to be number one at something.

JHS is too iconic to be torn down & relocated. And as also previously mentioned, we’d have to shell out some SERIOUS scratch to build a contemporary state of the art facility with all the fancy bells & whistles that would entail.

I for one would be happy to just upgrade and add a few more odds & ends amenities here and there within current confines of JHS.

For example?…Jacuzzi’s

It would be SO bitch’in to take a nice hot soak while enjoying live football action in The Loveliest Village on the Plains.

Why would you change the location anyway?

To get it out to the center of campus. To much congestion.

I would put it at the edge of campus, maybe were the CDV or CDV Ext. were or out on Wire Road.

I like the idea of a modern stadium.

Having a stadium in the middle of campus is what it is all about! Why in the frick would you ever want to change that? The game day experience at AU is second to none. Being on campus, central to Toomer's, downtown, student housing and in the damn middle of everything is absolutely what makes the experience.

Oh, my game day traffic! I had to wait for a long damn time! You're probably the same folks who leave at the beginning of the 4th quarter so you can beat the traffic.

For some reason.... sitting in a jacuzzi September early October in Auburn does not sound inviting.

All depends on how selective you are about which Sororities to invite?….

People pay big money for a girl to do that in Vegas.

Do some leg-work …ask around…engage in some good old fashioned haggling…

…it’s not as expensive as you may think if you cut a good deal
