The sec has always tried to keep their highest ranked team up there. They don't let upsets to playoff teams this late.

Well I wonder if Cohen tries to justify playing close to Bama as a reason to hire Durkin?
Freeze had them playing close and he decided that wasn't enough but now Durkin gets praised for it.

what has he done wrong? We had at least 7 drops. Our most reliable O player fumbles when it matters most. We have looked the best we have looked in over 5 years the last 3 weeks.

I genuinely do not see what is different the past few weeks versus the rest of the season. We have played good teams tight all year.

There was reasons Freeze lost games because the players not making plays and the refs. It's part of the game and not a reason to give Durkin a pass

Plus Durkin has shown his coaching at his last HCing job and hiring him now is going to be a hard sell to recruits that it's going to suddenly become better.

The reason we played good teams tight was our D, he’ll both UGA and Bama got gifted at least 10 points by the refs on multiple,BS calls, That’s why I won’t lose any sleep if we hire Durkin.
