And they’ve gone on to continue to show why it’s fine to be nervous about any game. We’ve been the cardiac kids for far too long to ever trust us

Auburn broke Baylor's arse. They're have the same problem that Clempson is having with Troy. arse broke and can't get it up the next week.

Syracuse

That was the first sporting event played in the state of New York after the 9/11 attacks. The '85 Bears weren't going to beat Syracuse that night.

Just wait until I tell you about the Philly guy that spit on the QB during the cointoss. That was insane!

I don’t really remember the Syracuse game but USF is a vivid memory even though they ended up being somewhat good.

Syracuse was the first game played in the nation post-9/11. They were going to beat the Patriots or the Cowboys on that particular day. They took out 9/11 on us and refs played along.

For USF, Cox had one entire upper leg that was black and blue from knee to pelvis. Pics leaked out on the old ITAT premium board. As is Auburn's habit, we didn't have a quality BU for him. Cox had some sort of exotic disease that caused him periodic problems, and slowed healing. That was why he could be so inconsistent.

As for Baylor, I didn't see Trigg on the field for the 2nd half, Did he play in the first? Robertson's comp percentage was much higher vs SMU than us because we got pressure. It was Trigg and the busts that they got their yards on vs us.

I legitimately believe they can win their conference. Especially with how ASU looked against Moo State last night.

Myasthenia gravis. Say what you will about Cox’s game but he was a warrior.

The good: Baylor offense is very good.

The bad: Baylor defense not very good.

I know we need something to discuss right now but honestly, the Baylor game doesnt mean anything. In the end, we will be ranked as how we do against our conference games. The real games. OU, Alabama, Georgia, TAM.

If we win those games, nothing can keep us from moving up. How Baylor does in the future or how they did against SMU won't mean anything.

We beat Baylor and the is a dubya. And that is all that matters.

We were suppose to beat Baylor. It was not some kind of marquee win. We are a better program than they and we always have been....

One thing that will be something to keep an eye on will be how quick we adjust our playcalling if teams want to keep playing cover 0 or 2 deep with 8-12 yards of cushion on the outside. Baylor and Ball St did that all game. Obviously Ball State we were trying early to work on stuff, so we didn't worry about adjusting until later. In the bigger games though, if that is how they keep wanting to defend us, the run game and RPO game could be lethal based on the limited samples so far. Adjusting early could work out very well.

Would like to see if South AL will change up the coverages some and press a little more and see what we are able to do against that.

Ok, so if they win their conference, beating the conference champion playoff bound team on the road, means nothing. Nice take. Hope you’re not on the committee that votes.
