I don't have access to 247, but it appears to be Tyler Shough.
EDIT: Too late. You got it
Graduate transfer, 3 years of eligibility.

So how realistic is this as a possibility? Seems like it has to be somewhat so, otherwise why write an article? But if he started 7 games I wouldn't expect him to go to a school where he'd have to compete for the job.

Sounds like he had a little competition at Oregon.
Other QB also played in the bowl game
So if he is that good, why is he thinking about leaving? He started for them correct? Or at least has a chance to win the starting job this next year? So does he not want to compete? If that is the case no thanks because if he doesn't make it what happens then? Sulk and leave? I hope we don't promise him the job as we have a Freshman coming in that has over a 72% completion rate and has good footwork that will press for playing time and has a good arm...

Won't matter who plays QB, if we don't get any linemen through the portal one of our coaches could face manslaughter charges for what happens to our QB

That's so weird. To have 3 years left and a Graduate. Is he counting his extra year the NCAA is giving?
That could work well at AU, with Nix going into his JR year. He could compete w/ Nix, and if more productive give us 2-3 years of a starting experienced QB.
I assume he will go where he has good shot or guaranteed shot at starting this fall....

This is recruiting related and KN is fairly solid in that sphere. Are you implying that he's making it up? Our interest in Shough would make perfect sense given what we have at QB, Harsin's affinity w/ the West Coast, and the fact that Colorado State was on Shough's interest list while coming out of HS in 2017...while Mike Bobo was the HC there.
Also, posted by Mike Farrell today:

Potential landing spots: Penn State, Auburn, Washington State, Oregon State and others have been rumored.
I watched him play in a couple of games last year and I wasn't impressed. I even thought that things are going to have to change for him to be the future of Oregon football. Doesn't mean he won't do well at his next stop. He is from Arizona I believe.

I haven’t seen him play, so not saying otherwise. But you’ll never, ever see again a transfer QB who’s has 3 year college experience, starting experience, and still 3 years of eligibility left. That’s crazy.
