That medical info issue has been going on for years, especially w/ HIPPA too.

You and many are misinformed. There are some rules for students (FERPA), but HIPAA only applies to Hospitals, Doctors, etc. It is why Injury reports can be given, etc. Many folks use it as an excuse, but think of Covid protocols in the NFL, etc. You hear coaches discuss injuries all the time.

One thing I'm not liking so far about the Harsin era at Auburn is the being so secretive on the injury front.

Pretty much all programs keep injuries secret nowadays. Gus was just as secretive.

And a lot of them don't too. And thanks, I thought I might be going out on a limb in regards to HIPPA. :)

Yeah I think we're rolling out the stormtroopers
I don't study other teams' away uniforms, but man if those stormtroopers aren't the most badass things worn on a Saturday away from home.

If you were watching at home on the ESPN feed Harsin crawled up Nix's arse. I actually left the living room.

for those just realizng how great J Hunter might be here is a tweet from Hoke

quote:

Auburn's Nick Brahms remembers Jarquez Hunter running stadiums during the summer.

The team had to run 17 stadiums. Hunter finished before the others, so he kept going. His teammates thought Hunter was finishing last, but he ended up running 23-24 stadiums.

That is dedication and leadership, pushing hard until the entire team is done. This dude might be the steal of the class.

Saw Tank being asked the wildest thing he'd seen from Hunter and he went with squatting 600 lbs. Said Jarquez just did it and it was like he wasn't doing anything.

etc: wasn't (not was)

247 says Shivers hasn’t been practicing this week and that it looks like Auburn is planning to be without him for PSU if he’s not cleared to go by then

Hunter’s legs look like tree trunks. I don’t see how he didn’t get more looks out of high school.

Shivers is a red zone/situational weapon at the least so not having him makes our job harder there

A confluence of him being sorta in the middle of nowhere Mississippi during a year when Covid limited camps and evaluation opportunities probably allowed him to slip under the radar more than he should have. I was really surprised when I first watched his tape because you really don’t see any obvious drawbacks. His height is probably the main detractor and he’s not exactly heavy either but the man is all legs

His coach refers to him as a "walking muscle that can run".

He has told some very unique stories about Hunter, and it does seem like you said that Hunter just didn't get enough film on him for evaluators, and not much personal contact to see how he looked. Some info on him had him only 5' 8" and 170, which there is no way he was that in HS. Some of them simply made mistakes and others took their info at their word.

Our gain...since I forgot that Friend was from his town and same HS. Friend definitely helped us in recruiting just bc of Hunter...

I think Shivers is the only person I’ve seen named as possibly out for PSU

Jaylin Simpson is 50/50 right now.

Shaun Shivers is going to lose his spot in the rotation, or at least be bumped down.
