Ban might have been a little harsh.

As far as football coaches go, I’ll get on them all day and be way too critical. I’m still not all the way sold on Brother Hugh.

Bruce? He took Auburn Basketball to the Final Four. That was unprecedented and really miraculous. We were arguably the all time worst basketball team in the SEC. He saved the program. Bruce has a permanent cool ticket from me, don’t care what happens.

I don’t really give a shite either way, just sharing something that caught my attention of it being the same person and was banned twice with basically the same post. I don’t think it has anything to do with the post per se. You need Ross and Rig to respond.

I’m just a dude perusing threads

Some people don’t understand a coach of Bruce level. They don’t understand a loss sometimes is more important than a win. If you ask me, our freshman pg just learned invaluable lessons and so did the rest of the team. Trust Bruce! This team looked good sans a few sloppy decisions and slow second half start.

Here’s my .02 worth. I’ve been here since this board has been open. Scope and his alter, which I only learned yesterday was also banned, are the only two I now know of that were banned. There could be a couple of more but I am not sure. There really hasn’t even been that many warnings given. In fact, I have seen more complaints both serious and fun, calling out the mods here for not doing a better job policing the board.

So we are going to hold an inquisition when one poster is given a timeout just from our board? We’re going to throw around righteous indignation as if our board is turning into Auburn Eagle or AUFamily? I think Rig, Ross, LCT, have shown tremendous restraint and responsibility all these years with the authority they have over the board. If Rig made a choice to give a poster a short timeout, I’m not going to worry about it as if he is being reckless or dictator like. It’s a very rare occurrence so it just doesn’t seem like an issue to get all bothered about, but that’s just my opinion.

obviously none of them have spent anytime at all reading our posts

that said, the closest thing to a sunshine pumper here is jiro/witsend, who seems to have disappeared again - did he get the hammer and i missed it?
