The biggest issue is that our offense consists of read options mixed in with PA Deep passes. Stidham can not run, and he can not throw deep. We are trying to fit a square peg in a round hole. Nick Marshall could run and could throw deep, but wasn't very good at medium stuff which Stidham is. We have literally the exact opposite of what we need

We need a duel threat QB. Something I’ve said since Nick Marshall left. Gus can’t draw up decent pass plays. He needs the running game so strong that WRs are just running wide open.

If our offense could just muster 28ppg we would be a playoff team

Lol 12 points is enough for MSU to seal the W on our offense.

Yeah, but Gus wanted to prove he was a legit coach instead of doing what works.

The most important question is will Gus make any of his patented halftime adjustments.

The issue is we need a dual threat QB that is a legit dual threat. If they suck at either aspect then the offense stalls.

I just feel sorry for the defense. Playing against our suck arse offense and the refs. Those defensive players have gotten screwed more than Stormy Daniels.

The sad thing is I have little doubt that Jarrett Stidham under Art Briles would have been a 1st rounder.

Our offensive players under any other coach and coordinator would probably be really good or at least serviceable. Lot of talent but Unfortunately they arent put in many positions to succeed

If you were Patrick Nix, would you want your son, a potential NFL QB, playing for Gus?

Stidham has talent but he's only ever gotten 1 year of development. He spent as year as a high school scout team QB and two years now with gus lol

Probably, but he would still end up crumbling in the NFL.

I feel confident with good coaching and a good scheme he can be successful. He reminds me of Andy Dalton
