You mean all those coupons for a free X that kept falling out of Tim's pocket in the locker room

Tim's speech, which is pretty damn awesome, connected with the players in a different, yet perhaps more effective manner.

Good point. Probably a problem if the players needed a loud, fiery speech to get them hyped.

In hindsight, Cook's speech was probably perfect for how the game unfolded. What seemed to be key highlights of believing in your training/ability, overcoming setbacks, pushing beyond your believed potential seemed great re the narrative of the game.

I was worried that after dominating the 1H, Bama going up 14-10 on a dominant drive would be demoralizing. We saw it in 2014, we mopped the floor w/ Bama everywhere but the scoreboard. Once they came back though, we couldn't push through and take back momentum

"Oh damn, did I leave that stack of $1000 dollar Apple Store gift cards in the locker room?"

Doesn't the new Tiger Club zone or whatever overlook the recruiting area?

What will stop donors from "Clumsy me, I lost a $100 bill over the railing. Probably gone forever.... in that recruits pocket"

I had that same feeling. Especially on the following drive too where we didn't really have a great drive and it was aided by Rashaan Evans being a POS.

Glad the players didn't get down after that.

My wife started negabarnin' hard. Too many AU games where early leads fall apart

Bama often plays like Floyd Mayweather boxing McGreggor. Take the jabs early, look threatened while the opponent is tiring while giving it their all. Then the second half they completely take over.

I can guarantee you it was not delivered the way Pat Dye delivered. He was truly the GOAT in the locker room.

They are featuring Auburn on SEC Inside Wednesday night on SEC Network. Hopefully they’ll feature the speech.

GOOd job for him. I don’t know why people assume bc he’s gay that he can’t get a point across. I listened to Truet Cathy give a speech a few years before his death and he could give great speeches even to high school aged students.

“Before you leave the locker room today, close your eyes. Take one moment. Think about the best version of yourself. That is who you really are. That person has everything you need to win today. Fall down seven times, get up eight. Rise like the wave and never let them forget today.

“They have had their time! Their time is over! It’s our time!”

I read this with a Rocky training montage song in my head. I feel motivated
