lol. Vandy has 2 of the top guards in the conference. I think our guys are doing fine. Remember defense is half the game as well.

Hate is a strong word. I'll make one up. Unclutch-er?

Most hated him being the pg for Auburn for sure. Didn't mean folks wanted him to die lol

Denver getting more comfortable could change the season. I swear I think he could be a 13 ppg guy

J Will said he’s had enough.

We traded overall/wooden bra guy for Masked Wrestler from parts unknown?

Broome is our most consistent 3 point shooter

If any players read this thread just remember that half of these knuckleheads are Bammers and the other half have never played basketball.

I actually like Aden as the starter but having Tre closing games out. I just think Aden works well in the pick and roll game and he’s great at getting the ball to the 5 when they roll to the lane. This allows Broome to have some one on one plays down low. The flip side is when Aden is playing with Cardwell we are left with a prayer shot from him.
I’m not concerned with Aden long term though assuming he sticks around. He’s gonna keep getting the green light and eventually it’s going to click again. He’s just got to get over whatever mental hump he’s facing.

If Aden doesn’t start hitting 3s the pick and roll is fricked. We have a long row to hoe but defense travels and we are good at that.

Yeah. I'm confident he will start knocking them down. Just sucks because I was thinking the guy was a Bryce Brown level shot maker and he just ain't that.
Bryce Brown level shooters don't grow on trees.
I think he has very good long term potential though. He sees the court well and plays pretty smart for a frosh.

Hard for a PG to be that level of shooter, especially as a freshman. I’m curious how things shake out next year assuming Tre and Aden stay. I’d be curious to see how Aden did getting some minutes at the 2.

Glad to get the win. That’s all that matters at the end of the day. Saturday is massive. Some crazy games left to go on the schedule that are much tougher then expected just 2 weeks ago. South Carolina, Ole Miss, Florida, Georgia to go along with the rest of the difficult schedule

My understanding was that he was a 2 most of his high school career and then he kinda just moved to the 1 for the best possible future this height/size. He’s picked up parts of the game at the 1 pretty well though

Is Aden just in a learning to compete at a higher level slump?
No matter how talented a young guy is, he’s still a young guy.
Maybe we get multiple years out of him. I think he can become a really terrific player, but he needs seasoning.

Maker I think so.
It’s such a faster game, they play d at this level, and he’s on the short end of the stick. The D picks up in conference play so he needs to adjust
