Pearl made it sound like the guy could barely ambulate until recently. Hard to believe their accounts of that could be that drastically apart?

Rumor is related to Auburn not giving him a medical release.

This makes me so sad. Why can't we have nice things here?

Louisville is supposedly 20 minutes from his HS. If he goes there so be it. If he goes to Kentucky he can fvck himself.

I told my boy, I bet not playing had him missing home and Louisville is a great option. Will be interesting

Did he Morse code blink this from a hospital bed?

Must be extremely homesick.
Good luck to him.

King on @247 — someone close to the program reminded him, unsolicited, that Powell attended 3 high schools.
Also said they weren’t surprised. I don’t know.
I’m pretty surprised still

I'd imagine he's heading to Louisville. I'd also bet on his long-term concussion issues being real. It'll be interesting to see wherever he ends up and if they clear him immediately.

I could see it being easier for a medical staff who didn’t deal with the immediate recovery/rehab having an easier time clearing someone.

I liked the kid and it's definitely a surprise, but I really don't think it's as big of a deal as some of y'all are making it out to be.
Trey Alexander can be just as good in the same role as Powell, and now we have room for Scoot if he reclassifies
